I Built the Eridian Clock from Project Hail Mary
To celebrate Project Hail Mary, I built two Eridian-inspired clocks based on the version described in the book: a compact digital wristwatch and a larger analog clock. In this video, I walk through the overall design, the custom 3D-printed parts, the electronics, and the assembly process behind both builds, along with some of the lessons learned while turning a fictional piece of alien technology into a real working project.
